No. 5220. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, the clinic is the Data Fiduciary for the information described below.

2. What this website collects

Appointment request form

The form on this website asks for your name, age, gender, phone number, email address, preferred consultation type, preferred date and time, and a short description of your health concern.

Once you send that message, it is handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under their own terms and privacy policy, and the content becomes visible to the clinic in our WhatsApp account.

Clinical records

If you consult with Dr. Ria, a clinical case record is created and maintained at the clinic. This includes your history, symptoms, prescriptions, and any investigation reports you share. These records are made and kept by the clinic, not by this website.

Technical information

This website is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify's servers automatically log basic technical information about requests, which may include IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is standard server logging used for delivery and security.

Third-party embeds

Some pages embed content from third parties, which may set cookies or receive your IP address when the embed loads:

• Google Maps — the clinic location map.
• Instagram (Meta) — the two feed embeds.
• Google Fonts — typefaces used across the site.

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control what they collect. If you prefer to avoid them, your browser's content-blocking settings can prevent the embeds from loading; the rest of the site will still work.

What we do not do

• We do not run advertising or behavioural-tracking pixels on this site.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone.
• We do not operate a mailing list or send marketing email from this site.

3. Why we use your information

• To respond to your appointment request and confirm a slot.
• To provide consultation, prescribe, and follow up on your treatment.
• To dispatch medicines where a courier is used for an online consultation.
• To maintain clinical records as a registered practitioner is expected to.
• To comply with applicable law, or a lawful order from a competent authority.

Where the DPDP Act requires consent, submitting the form or sending us a WhatsApp message constitutes your consent for the purpose stated above. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us, though we may need to retain clinical records where the law requires it.

4. Sharing

Your information is shared only where necessary: with WhatsApp (Meta), as the channel you chose to contact us through; with a courier service, limited to name, address, and phone, when medicines are dispatched to you; with a laboratory or another physician, only when you ask us to or where it is necessary for your care; and where required by law.

5. Retention

Clinical records are retained for as long as is appropriate for continuity of care and to meet professional record-keeping expectations. Appointment enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are kept only as long as needed to respond, and remain in our WhatsApp history unless deleted.

6. Security

This website is served entirely over HTTPS. Clinical records at the clinic are kept under access control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — particularly for information sent over third-party messaging platforms.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you may:

• Ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it has been used.
• Ask us to correct, complete, or update inaccurate information.
• Ask us to erase information, where we are not required to retain it.
• Withdraw a consent you previously gave.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
• Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if it is not resolved.

8. Children

Children are treated at the clinic, and information about a child is provided by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the consent given. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information directly from a child through it.
